The participants had to produce an audiovisual piece on respect for water, with a maximum duration of 1 minute and a minimum of 15 seconds, designed for dissemination through social networks.

The objective is to promote among primary school students, with a didactic approach adapted to modern times, the acquisition of good habits in the use of water and knowledge of the behavior of natural hydrological ecosystems, river dynamics or the risks associated with extreme events or climate change.

The Innovaugas 2022 School Awards, to encourage environmental education among the youngest children about the use of water and the preservation of the natural environment, were developed as a joint initiative of the Regional Ministry of Infrastructure and Mobility, through Augas de Galicia, and the Regional Ministry of Culture, Education, Vocational Training and Universities, and was aimed at schools in the first and second year of primary school throughout Galicia.
